I know I’m not the only who went to the movie theatre to see National Treasure 2 a few months back and ended up enjoying the new Disney short screening before the actual movie way more. For those of you not in the know, this is the first Disney Goofy short in over 40 years. I am a huge fan of Superman: The Animated Series. I think the animation is phenomenal and I really like how the episodes are interconnected throughout the whole series. I have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the 3rd and final volume of the series on DVD, and, after repeatedly searching on Amazon.com for the Vol. 3 set pre-order, I decided to look it up on Google, and discovered that just recently Warner Bros announced the release for the 20th of June, which has been named ‘SuperDay’! I recently came across this very funny animated short, titled Le building, done by some obviously very talented students at a school in France. It is done both with traditional and CG animation techniques, and the integration is truly exceptional. There is also a very good making-of video of Le building, worth looking at if you are interested in animation.
