I had some free time over the Thanksgiving weekend, so I spent some time working on a small crafts project I’ve wanted to do for a while. I have had this beautiful Harry Potter calendar from 2006 that I had stored away and would take out once in a while to look at because I love the illustrations by Mary Grandpre.

Flight: Volume 3
I just found out today that the 3rd volume of Flight is coming out on June 26! Which means I have to stop putting off buying the second volume, or perhaps I should get them both together, like a double treat. I enjoyed the first volume immensely, all of the art was outstanding. Continue reading »
Harry Potter and the Torture of Waiting
Two whole years after waiting for the 6th Harry Potter book, entitled Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and I have had to wait another ten days before I can start reading it. (Where I am located at the moment, the book hasn’t been released yet–I will be back in the U.S. next Monday.) The worst is that I have to stay away from my favorite HP websites from fear of giving in to reading spoilers. To make the situation less painful for myself, I have decided to reread the 5th book of the series (this is the 3rd time) to refresh my memory on what had been going on in the world of Harry Potter. And it’s still a treat to read it.
